I value your hard work on your jove.com manuscripts and final portfolios. I want your contributions to be properly acknowledged and to protect your privacy. The jove.com manuscripts are formatted for submission. If we can do the lab experiments in the near future, we would like to submit the article for publication. Each of you will be an author along with me and anyone else who helps with the wet lab experiments. We will provide authorship details when the time comes.
Your final portfolios have the goal of explaining high-throughput discovery applications and fundamental concepts to a broad audience. The requirements include learning objectives and resources to make the portfolio as accessible and usable as possible. If you do not wish to post your portfolio on the course WordPress site (go.ncsu.edu/htd), please let me know. Alternatively, you may decide to post your portfolio under a pseudonym or remain anonymous. If so, please indicate this in the explanation section of the assignment:
- post work to WordPress using their real name
- post work to WordPress using a pseudonym
- post work to WordPress anonymously
- don’t post work to WordPress at all.
We value your contributions and will provide a Create Commons license on the web pages. The objective is to protect your intellectual property while sharing it with others who may use it in their research and courses.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for helping build reusable educational resources and contributing to the open education and research communities.
Have a great weekend!
