Hello BIT 479/579 High-throughput (HT) Scholars!
We are excited to welcome you back and have our second lab session tomorrow, Tuesday from 12:50-5:50 PM!
Module 2 is open and addresses the question: what makes a good screen? There is an interactive video, a forum, and case study.
Remember that even though our lectures are officially scheduled for Thursday from 3:00-4:50 PM, they are completely asynchronous and you do not need to come in-person for these sessions. Instead you may complete the lecture materials through Moodle at your own pace throughout the week.
Our second lab session is tomorrow morning. We will introduce lab expectations, perform a lab 1 review, and discuss digital PCR. Then, in teams we will work together to set up the epMotion 5075 liquid handler to set up a digital PCR. Our protocols can be accessed here and we will use Protocols.io to follow and improve steps. The protocols are linked on the HTD website too.
