What to expect from peer reviews and feedback of group projects drafts

Class,

I have seen drafts of your jove.com style manuscripts highlighting automation to address biological questions. I’ve provided some feedback and suggestions. Incorporate those ideas and submit a draft by tomorrow at 5 PM. I will then send your document to the other group with the following prompt:

Attached you will find another group project manuscript draft. Read it carefully and use track changes to include suggestions and feedback. Each team member should provide feedback. Pay particular attention to the jove.com author template requirements, the reliability of the sources of information, and the ease of interpreting the steps to perform this task. The goal is to improve readability and make it a protocol that others can readily adapt.

You will have one week to submit your feedback to me. I will compile the documents to send to the other group on Friday, September 11th. Then, each group will review the feedback from your peers to improve the project.

Don’t forget that each group should also post a forum update and email a teamwork report by tomorrow.

I am truly impressed by what you have done with these proposals and believe the feedback by your peers will strengthen the articles.

Take care!

CG
