It is our last week of our journey together in this course! We have designed this module to focus on reflection and appreciation of the effort, ideas, and collaboration you brought to our course. We will also send feedback from your peers for your jove.com manuscripts and want you to incorporate and strengthen your articles! In addition to group projects, you will individually work on a portfolio that digs into a high-throughput discovery science topic that interests you and can benefit others. Please read the guidelines carefully. And as always, if something is unclear to you at any time during the process we encourage you to reach out to us! Portfolio submissions and jove.com articles are both due Friday April 30th by 5 pm. Let us know if you need more time.
Your HTD Instructional Team
Overview
What did we learn? How will we use HT approaches? In this Module, we will review several of the high-throughput approaches we discussed. We will then reflect and share our thoughts on what we learned from the activities, research, and final portfolio assignments. This Module is intentionally shorter than others so that participants focus on reflecting, reviewing, and sharing materials that have been created to explain high-throughput discovery science to broad audiences. How will you use HT approaches now?
Upon successful completion of this module, you will be able to:
- Reflect and explain what you learned after conducting research on a topic for your high-throughput discovery science final portfolio (CO 1, 4, 5)
- Critically analyze HTD resources to identify biases and gaps in knowledge (CO 6)
- Produce and share resources using universal design for learning to share findings (CO 6).
To complete this module, you will need to:
- Watch video for Module 7
- Contribute to discussion forum 7
- Finalize & submit your high-throughput (HT) portfolios
- Incorporate edits and peer feedback into your group jove.com manuscripts
- BIT 579: edit and proofread your NSF GRFP proposals
